Walking in LA…..

We took a trip to Los Angeles to shop the fabric district today.

  Lots of walking and shopping.

 

Cheep stuff….fabric $1 a yard

Lace inserts .50 each.

More trims than you have ever seen in your life…all in one place.  If they don’t have it you don’t need it.

We are already planning another trip…..this time for clothes and handbags!!!  Well worth the hour and a half drive.

**{4th Birthday Party}**

Happy birthday to you……happy birthday to you……Savannah……the birthday girl in her princess outfit.  She asked nana to make her a princess hat…not a crown……a hat for her to wear at her birthday party.  A princess needs a tutu too……

So as soon as I got to the party I took her out to take pictures.  Because I know this is my only chance before she makes a mess of things. 

 But as soon as we got out there her uncle got in the jumpy and she didn’t want to take any more pictures.  She wanted to get in the jumpy and started peeling things off. 

So he bribed her to take a couple more…

{{ I Love Robin’s Egg Blue }}

I am hooked on printing images on fabric.  Its just so cool that I can design a project around something I printed on fabric.  I found this wonderful bird image on The Graphics Fairy's blog and just fell in love with it.  I just love anything to do with birds, nests and eggs and especially in robins egg blue.  Could it be because my name is Robin?? 

So….I printed this out and went thru my fabric stash to see what I could find.  This is what I came up with.
