  4. Wow, that's a huge amount of work - I hope the giftees appreciate it! I started an African Flower thing a couple of years ago but put it to one side and am not sure where it is now! Ought to dig it out and give it another go....

    1. I did the same with this one. I started in August then set it aside for a while and then had to hustle to get it done for Christmas. You should dig yours out I bet you will enjoy working on it again!

  8. After having spent the afternoon shoveling white snow this blanket struck me like a blaze of glory! Love the colors. I know how much work went into this having made one a few years ago myself. I was thrilled with my lovely neat stacks of squares until I realized how long it was going to take to sew them together:-)

  10. Hi Robin, Today is my lucky day that you should have commented on my blog so that i could in turn discover your blog. OMG! I am agog at all of the beautifully hand crafted items you have made. Your altered bottle and scarf lamp, brilliant! And this afghan is absolutely beautiful! I am "newish" to simple crochet and hope to make another afghan soon. Thank you so much for finding me! I can't wait to explore here more! Elizabeth
